On Monday, the world of college Call of Duty collides with the Call of Duty League as Version1 and Cxmmunity host Røkkr Rally, a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II tournament. This tournament features intense competition between the best HBCU Esports League teams, who will be playing alongside Minnesota Røkkr’s starting lineup, Dalvin Tomlinson, who recently signed a multi-year contract with the Cleveland Browns of the NFL, and Minnesota Røkkr Warzone creators Almond, Smixie and Blazt.
$5,000 in scholarship prize pool money is on the line for the student competitors and eight HBCU Esports League teams will battle their way through a best-of-three single-elimination bracket.

Røkkr Rally is part of Version1’s partnership with Cxmmunity, an organization dedicated to increasing the representation of minority groups in gaming and esports. The HBCU Esports League was created by Cxmmunity — it is the first and only national league for students at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs).
