Map: Bocage
Mode: Hardpoint
The series opened on Bocage Hardpoint. Røkkr started off by locking down a large portion of time on P1. They also won the rotation to the second hill, furthering their early lead. The final trio of hills were closely contested, but Surge were able to get a solid P5 hold and took a 110-75 lead. The second set of rotations saw Minnesota working to close in on Seattle’s lead. A 5-kill spree from Standy helped to lock down P4 and give Røkkr a 179-163 lead going into P5. Surge were able to tie up the game on the following P1 and took the lead during P2. But a defiant Røkkr took the scrap time and the rotation to P3, locking down the point against an onslaught of Surge players. With an impenetrable hold on the point, Røkkr were able to surpass their opponents and close out the game. Minnesota Røkkr took the Game 1 victory, 250-241

Game 2
Map: Desert Siege
Mode: Search & Destroy
Starting off on offense, Røkkr were quick to get the bomb down, but Seattle answered back with a series of kills, putting Priestahh in a 1v2. With a heroic play, he was able to take down both opponents to clutch the opening round for Minnesota. Another clinical round went in favor of Røkkr, putting them up 2-0 before Surge answered back with a defensive win of their own. Back-and-forth rounds were traded, but Minnesota came out on top with a 4-2 lead. Despite the best efforts of Seattle, Røkkr secured two more wins in a dominant fashion to close out the map. Minnesota took the win in Game 2, 6-3.

Game 3
Map: Tuscan
Mode: Control
Moving to Tuscan for Control, Minnesota started off on the attack. Taking an early A capture, Røkkr held a small life lead as they advanced towards the B point. Despite several solid attempts, Minnesota were unable to take the B point and the defense took the opening round. On defense, Røkkr were quick to give up the A point but remained strong at B. Although they were able to keep Seattle off the point, they quickly ran out of lives, and Surge won the second round. Back on offense, Røkkr fought for the A capture, bleeding each team out of half their lives before the battle moved towards B. Dynamic plays from Røkkr allowed them to out-maneuver a glide bomb and take the life lead as time started to run out. In a 5v4, Minnesota were able to barely stop the clock as they pieced apart the defense to take the attacking round win. Capitalizing on their momentum, Røkkr stayed dominant throughout the following round, tying Surge at 2-2, and sending the game to a round 5. On offense for the tie-breaker, Minnesota were able to cap A early, and swiftly push towards B. Despite their best efforts, Surge remained solid on defense, refusing to let Minnesota touch the B point, and giving them the game 3 win. Seattle took the game 3, 3-2.
Game 4
Map: Berlin
Mode: Hardpoint
Minnesota started off on Berlin with the far spawns, giving Seattle a wide berth as they collected the early time on P1. Røkkr answered back with a strong hold on P2 and the rotation to P3, giving them the lead as both teams fought for control of trains. The closing points of the first rotation were highly contested, but Seattle were able to take a 126-74 lead as both teams rotated back to P1. Røkkr pushed to close the gap, but Surge continued their momentum and eventually closed out the map. Seattle took game 4, 250-117.
Game 5
Map: Tuscan
Mode: Search & Destroy
On defense to open up the game 5, Røkkr were quick to take out half of their opponents before allowing the plant and hopping the defuse to take the round win. Seattle answered back with a set of wins to go up 2-1. Swift, aggressive rounds were traded between both teams, leading to a tied game at 4-4. However, Minnesota’s excellent teamwork helped the squad string together two heroic rounds and close out the game 5. Røkkr were victorious in Game 5 with a 6-4 final score, and won the series against Seattle Surge 3-2.
