Map 1: Icebox

Shopify Rebellion took the first pistol round of game one, but VersionX answered back with an eco round win. Utility flew across the map in round three as both teams fought for control over the B bomb site, and Version X secured another round win. The two teams traded rounds back and forth, tying the score at 3-3, but Version X pulled ahead. After an eco round win in the 11th round, Shopify Rebellion narrowly trailed behind VersionX. As the sides switched, the score was 7-5 in favor of VersionX. To kick off the second half of the match, VersionX won the pistol round. Starlight, the new IGL for VersionX, clutched a beautiful 1v1 in round 16. Shopify managed to get a couple more rounds, but VersionX closed out the first game 13-9.

Final Score: 13-9, in favor of VersionX.

Map 2: Fracture

Shopify Rebellion won the first pistol round of the second match, and carried this momentum into the following rounds, stringing together four consecutive round wins. VersionX replied with a few round wins of their own, and at the half, the score was 8-4 in favor of Shopify Rebellion. VersionX rallied, reversing their round deficit to tie up the match 9-9. VersionX brought the match to overtime, but ultimately fell short, and Shopify Rebellion tied the series 1-1 with a win on Fracture.

Final Score: 14-12, in favor of Shopify Rebellion.

Map 3: Bind

Shopify Rebellion won the first pistol round on Bind, and quickly pulled ahead. After an ace from Shopify’s KP in the sixth round brought the score to 5-1, VersionX called a timeout. Despite a valiant effort from VersionX, Shopify Rebellion continued to apply pressure, winning the map and series.

Final Score: 13-6, in favor of Shopify Rebellion.
