You couldn’t ask for a better start to the match than two big kills from Zander in the opening pistol round, and a flawless team ace to follow up in Round 2. Skwirel Warriers answered back quickly, and took an 8-4 lead heading into the second half. Version1 picked up yet another flawless team ace to kick things off, and took eight rounds in a row on offense. After the match went to overtime, Version1 claimed victory on Map 1. The final score was 14-12 in favor of Version 1.

Map 2: IceBox

After losing the first pistol round, Version1 went down 0-2 to start the second map.After a team ace in Round 3, Version1 started to find the momentum that would carry them throughout the rest of the match. Zander and Wippie both had standout performances, with a combined 26 kills before the second pistol round. Version1 was up 8-4 as the sides switched and they transitioned to defense, where they quickly closed out the game without dropping a round. Wippie ended the match 21-7, and the final score was 13-4 in favor of Version1.
