VERSION1 vs Nefarious

Version1 wore their hearts on their sleeves heading into the third series of the day against Nefarious, after a heartbreaking loss against XSET. Aggressive offensive play paid off and Torment puts V1 on the board first. Ahuduhm scores on a wide-open net to put Nefarious on the board and even things up. He nets a second in the final seconds of the match to take game one.  

Version1 scored first in game two, but Nefarious quickly answered. Both offenses traded long balls and defenses long clears as the game ticked on. Both teams scored and the game went to overtime. Comm scored on a whiffed ball, and V1 takes game two, 3-2. 

Nefarious scored first and V1 tied things up on a goal from Gimmick. Torment scored the second goal of the gritty series and V1 settled in to try and defend its lead. But Nefarious answered and the game ends up in OT. Version1 scores to win game three and go up in the series, 2-1. 

Gimmick scored less than a minute in and V1 looked to be piling on offensive momentum in their quest to close out the series against Nefarious. With just over a minute left, Torment adds a second goal. That turns out to be enough. Version1 takes the series, 3-1.
