VERSION1 vs XSET

Version1 rematched against XSET in match two. Things looked even for the first half of the match, but it was XSET who scored first, earning the team a boost of confidence. V1 went on the defense under some dynamic play from its rival. XSET takes game one, 2-1. 

Hockser put his team on the board in the first minute of play in game two, after a lackluster challenge from V1 on defense. Percy scored again after carrying the ball all the way into the back of net with just over a minute left in the game. XSET holds on and goes up two in the series. 

Version1 had a few chances to score in the first minute of the match and finally, Gimmick put it away to earn the team the early lead. It wasn’t until the fourth minute of the game that XSET scored to even things up. It wouldn’t a V1 match without overtime. But at least things went our way! V1 made an amazing save at its own goal, and Gimmick scored on transition to take the OT victory and stay alive in the series.  

In game four, XSET scored first but V1 turned it on to regain the lead and force a game five. 

In game five, both teams got on the board, but XSET went up 2-1, after a missed block from Torment. XSET settled into defend its lead but Gimmick, in a stunner scored as time ran out, forcing overtime. Percy ended hopes for a V1 reverse sweep, slamming the ball into the net and winning the series for XSET. V1 falls in the series 3-2.
