V1RL vs Rogue

Game 1:

Not even 20 seconds into the game, Rogue’s Turinturo scored a goal. His teammate, Taroco also scored near the 4 minute mark. V1 tried to break through Rogue’s defense but they just couldn’t get around it. With 10 seconds left on the clock, Turinturo locked in his second goal of the match.

Game 2:

There were a couple of close calls for V1 but nothing landed for the first 3 minutes of the game. Rogue’s Taroco scored, putting the score at 1-0. Comm was able to put a point on the board and shortly after Gimmick and Torment followed up with a goal. Gyro was able to sneak one in around the 15 second mark but V1 prevailed.

Game 3:

Gimmick scored around the halfway point and V1’s offense was strong. Comm put the cherry on top and scored with little to 30 seconds left. Taroco managed to get two goals before the clock. With an extra two minutes of playing time, Torment closed it out with goal number 3, putting V1 up 2-1 in the series.

Game 4:

Right off the bat, Rogue’s Turinturo put a point on the board. Two minutes in, Comm executed a flawless pass to Gimmick to tie the game. Then, the unexpected happened: Taroco scored back to back goals and drastically changed the pace of the game.

Game 5:

In true V1 fashion, a game five was played.

It started off with an unassisted goal from Torment and things were looking good. Comm followed up with a goal, putting V1 up 2-0. Near the two minute mark Turinturo scored on a completely open net. With almost a minute left, Rogue Gyro tied up the game. To no surprise, the game went to overtime and about 2:30 minutes in, Rogue Taroco closed it out.
