V1RL vs Ghost Gaming

Game 1 – In the first match of the day, Version1 played against Ghost Gaming, and BeastMode debuts the season with Version1. Roll Dizz breaks out with the first goal within the first 3 seconds. Comm gets the first Version1 goal followed by BeastMode for a 2:2. A demo-heavy and good midfield play. Lionblaze makes a goal and Ghost Gaming wins the first map.

Game 2 – V1 starts the second map on offense Shock makes the first 2 goals with consistent play. Close from Version1, with hard defense by Ghost. Dizz makes another goal and the game closes at 0:3.

Game 3 – Comm makes a left slide goal. BeastMode aggressively pushes in for good goal. Dizz follows up with a goal for Ghost. A sustained offense keeps Version1 alive and the game ends 2:1 with 2 goals and 3 saves from Version1.

Game 4 – Lionblaze sends a bullet into the top corner net for the first goal of game 4. Torment and Comm are denied by Ghost defense. Comm’s pass to Torment allows him to push in for a goal. Comm finds an angle over Shock for a multitouch goal. And another fast goal by Comm closes out game 3:1 and a potential reverse sweep.

Game 5 – Both teams go into game 5 showing panic. Lionblaze scores with 2:08 remaining. Roll Dizz gets the second goal with a little hesitation by Comm. Ghost gaming wins this match and the reverse sweep is denied. Version1’s 7 goals, 18 saves, and 5 assists aren’t quite enough and ends the match with a defeat.
