Version1 vs La Familia

Match 2 v La Familia 

Game 1: 5-3

Comm started things out in booming fashion as he buried a nice upper 90 shot and a low heater back-to-back to lock in an early two-goal lead. One of the La Familia players, Bedazzled Battle Bus, rocked a fitting Battle Bus, which is unheard of in RLCS, but it may have helped the squad to their first goal in the series. Comm responded with a third goal for the hat trick. Torment scored again, followed oddly by two Bedazzling Battle Bus goals. Gimmick put in the final goal to secure the 5-3 win for Version1.

Game 2: 1-2

IRicky gave La Familia their first lead of the series with a quick score in game two. A minute later Comm put one in off of a sick, low Gimmick pass, but it ultimately wouldn’t be enough. A Leakez goal and constant pressure from the La Familia squad powered them through game two. 

Game 3: 2-1

Version1’s offense wasn’t having any of the previous match frustrations, as Comm, Gimmick and Torment bounced it around for a pretty first goal. The BBB (Bedazzling Battle Bus) responded with one for La Familia shortly after and the game would remain locked 1-1 for more than two minutes. Thankfully Comm continued his goal-scoring consistency and gave V1 the late 2-1 lead. 

Game 4: 1-3

Somehow amidst the chaos that was game three (and had been the series so far), it took three entire minutes before Gimmick opened the scoring on a spicy bouncer. Sadly, BBB continued to be a pest for V1, tying it up with 1:50 remaining. La Familia kept the pressure up and scored two more goals to send us to a game five. 

Game 5: 2-0

Gimmick found a way through the La Familia D early and got one for the good guys only six seconds in. Version1 played stout defense and won countless 50/50s to keep La Familia at bay. Comm logged an insurance goal late and V1 found the gritty win.
