V1RL vs Team Falcons

Game 1

The opening kickoff went in favor of Version1, but Falcons were quick to clear it down the field and take the opening goal. A second goal came in for Falcons, putting them up 2-0. V1 were able to transition to offense and had several strong attempts at the goal line, but Falcons prevented Version1 from scoring, and the final score was 2-0 in favor of Falcons.

Game 2

Both teams traded shots on offense, but Falcons were able to take the early lead. The mid-game was very back and forth, with no goals from either team, despite the constant offensive pressure on both sides of the field. A heroic last-second goal from Comm tied the game at 1-1 and sent it to overtime. However, a successful kick-off from Falcons gave them a 2-1 overtime win in Game 2.

Game 3

Constant early aggression from Falcons was matched by strong defense from V1. Capitalizing on the forward play from Falcons, Version1 swiftly pushed down field and BeastMode put in the opening goal. Back on offense, Falcons were narrowly able to score on the line and tie the game at 1-1. A spectacular flip reset from Comm gave Version1 a second goal and a 2-1 lead late in the game. On the backs of an impenetrable defense, Version1 took a 2-1 victory in Game 3.

Game 4

Both teams traded early aggression, but the defense proved strong on either side of the field, leading to a scoreless game as the final minute began to tick down. Dynamic teamwork from Version1 allowed Comm to punch in a late-game goal, giving them the 1-0 lead. Heroically fending off the offensive aggression from Falcons, V1 closed out the fourth game with a 1-0 victory.

Game 5

Version1 put early pressure on the Falcons, trapping their opponents on defense in the early part of the match. Torment successfully prevented Falcons from scoring multiple times. Despite a strong offensive presence from both teams, the game remained scoreless until the final minute. A last-second goal was put in by Falcons, putting them up 1-0. Version1 were unable to respond, and the finals core was 1-0 in favor of Falcons.

Game 6

In a must-win game for Version1, Game 6 began in a deadlock, with both teams seeking an opening goal and coming up empty handed. The game remained scoreless until a smooth diversion play from Version1 helped Torment secure the fist and only goal of the match. After denying multiple shots on goal from Falcons, Version1 were victorious in Game 6, and the final score was 1-0 in their favor.

Game 7

Game 7 opened with back and forth aggression from both teams. Despite the pressure on both goal lines, the first half remained scoreless. Version1 opened up the second half with an open-net goal from BeastMode. Falcons quickly responded with a goal of their own, tying the game at 1-1. A swift second goal gave Falcons a 2-1 lead. Despite fierce offensive pressure from Version1, they were unable to put in a second goal. Falcons took the Game 7 victory, 2-1, and the series victory, 4-3.
