V1RL vs SSG

Game 1

The opening faceoff went in favor of Version1, but Spacestation Gaming quickly moved back to offense, taking the first goal of the game. SSG also made a second goal before a strong shot from BeastMode put V1 on the board as well. Both teams held strong on defense in the second half of the game, but a corner shot from Spacestation strengthened their lead. Version1 were not able to close the gap as time ran out. The final score was 4-1 in favor of SSG.

Game 2

Version1 started off aggressive in the second game of the series, and capitalized on this early offensive pressure to grab the first goal of the match. A clinical double-tap from BeastMode allowed him to net a second goal for V1 as the game moved into the second half of regulation. Version1 held strong on defense, preventing SSG from scoring any goals and slowly bleeding out the clock. Version1 were victorious in Game 2, and the final score was 2-0 in their favor.

Game 3

Early offense from Spacestation gave them the opening goal in Game 3. Both teams traded looks on offense, but neither was able to find an opening after SSG’s early goal. V1 and SSG went down to two players late in the game, creating a 2v2 matchup before both teams regained their lost members. Despite the change in composition, defense remained dominant and no goals were allowed on either side. As time ran out, Version1 were unable to tie up the game, and SSG took a 1-0 victory.

Game 4

Game 4 proved chaotic with both teams quickly switching between offense and defense. Despite multiple shots on goal, the game remained scoreless going deep into the second half. Torment was able to float in a goal for Version1 late in the game, giving them the lead. Spacestation were unable to score a goal of their own with the time left, and conceded Game 4 to V1. The final score was 1-0 in favor of Version1.

Game 5

Version1 found success first in Game 5, with a brilliant pass from BeastMode to Comm giving them the opening goal of the match. A late goal from SSG tied the game up and sent it to overtime. Both teams proved resilient, but Spacestation were able to secure the winning goal. Spacestation Gaming took a 2-1 win in Game 5.

Game 6

Despite constant pressure from SSG, both teams remained scoreless. A dynamic play from Torment gave Version1 the first goal of the game late in the second half. A second goal from Torment extended Version1’s lead. Despite a last-second goal from Spacestation, Version1 closed out the game with a 2-1 victory.

Game 7

Both teams came out strong in the final game of the series, quickly trading opening goals. Capitalizing on a demo near the goal line, Comm put in a second goal for Version1, giving them the lead. Spacestation swiftly answered back to tie up the game yet again at 2-2. The game remained deadlocked for the rest of regulation, sending the series to one final overtime. With an incredible display of teamwork to open up overtime, Version1 quickly put the game away with a final goal from Comm. Version1 took the game 7 victory, 3-2 and the series win 4-3.
