V1RL vs Orlando Pirates

GAME 1

The opening kickoff goes the way of the Pirates as SkillSteal makes his presence known with an early 1 – 0 lead. Momentum is short-lived as Comm quickly evens the playing field with a goal of his own. Version1 starts to be aggressive. Comm assists BeastMode as they take the lead 2 – 1. Version1 plays exceptionally with everyone scoring their own goal. The final score is 4 – 1 with a 1 – 0 series lead. 

GAME 2

BeastMode assists Comm to give V1 the lead within the first minute. Great teamwork from the squad is displayed as BeastMode performs a brilliant dropdown pass to Comm and increases the lead to 2 – 0. SkillSteal evens the score for the Pirates to make it 2 – 1. With yet another goal from BeastMode, giving V1 their second two-goal lead of the game. Another dropdown pass comes from Comm to make it 3 – 1. Darth immediately responds but it is too late, as Comm nets his 4th goal of the game. Version1 wins 5-2.

GAME 3

Comm and Torment perform a quick, offensive play to score in the first 10 seconds of game 3. Torment keeps up the momentum, putting in his second goal. Cherry-picking out of midfield, BeastMode scores one as well with the lead now up 3 – 0. All around dominance from Version1 as the squad takes the win 5 – 0. 

GAME 4

With the win nearly in their grasp, Comm quickly takes the lead for V1. SkillSteal ties it up 1 – 1 to put the momentum to a halt. BeastMode taps in his first of the game thanks to a dropdown pass from Comm and they take the lead. Version1 takes game 4 with another goal from BeastMode. Version1 is up 1-0 in RLCS Worlds Wildcard and will play Spacestation Gaming on August 5th at 1:00 PM CT.
