V1RL vs Spacestation Gaming

GAME 1

Game 1 is a competitive brawl from both sides with no goals scored in the first half. Just 90 seconds left, Retals scores the opening goal for SSG. Immediately after, Retals taps in his second but the fire is extinguished as Torment opens up for V1. The score is now 1 – 2. Arsenal immediately scores one to make it 3 – 1 and Retals gets a hat trick bringing the score to 4 – 1 in the first game.

GAME 2

Daniel gets the opening goal early in game 2. Version1 battle back with great teamwork and a beautiful demo from Comm allowing BeastMode to score on a wide-open goal. The game is tied at 1 – 1. Firing on all cylinders, BeastMode assists Comm with a brilliant pass off the backboard putting V1 in the lead. Solid teamwork from SSG allows Daniel to get his second goal, tying the game up 2 -2. Heading to overtime, Daniel closes it out early to obtain his hat trick as they take game 2, 2 – 3 

GAME 3

Kickoff goes the way of SSG with a goal from Retals. Comm receives a lovely pass from BeastMode and taps it in to even out the score to 1 – 1. 

It’s an all-out brawl leaving the game scoreless until Comm assists BeastMode to take the lead 2 – 1. A late dagger from Comm with time expiring gives V1 the edge in game 3, 3 – 1. The series score is now 1-2.

GAME 4

Retals scores an early goal giving SSG the lead. Torment quickly slows the momentum as he ties it up 1 – 1 on the offensive end. Game 4 is a defensive battle with little scoring. Retals finds another goal in game 4. SSG wins 2-1. 

GAME 5

V1 starts hot; Comm gets the squad fired up with an early lead. SSG immediately ties the game 1 – 1 with a goal from Daniel. It’s a close match-up with stops and saves from both sides and the game heads into overtime. Comm shuts it down early, as he knocks in his second goal of the game. Version1 heads to game 6 and SSG are not out of the woods yet.

GAME 6

SSG takes control early with a goal from Daniel. The momentum is rolling with SSG. 5 goals go their way as the scoreline now amounts to 5 – 0. BeastMode scores a goal as the clock winds down, but it’s too late as SSG takes the game 6 – 1 and the series 4 – 2.
