V1RL vs The Club

GAME 1

Version1 took control of the opening kickoff and maintained an aggressive offense to start the game. However, The Club were able to answer first with an opening goal to go up 1-0. A strong mid-field presence from The Club kept V1 from moving back to offense and they maintained their lead as time ran out. The Club took the game 1 win, 3-0.

GAME 2

Version1 had an explosive start to game 2 with a swift opening goal from Torment. The Club were quick to answer back with a goal of their own, leveling the score at 1-1. After looks on offense were traded between the teams, Torment netted a second and third goal for V1, putting them decisively in the lead at 3-1. Despite a resurgence from The Club, Torment continued his reign of terror with a fourth goal to solidify the victory for V1. Version1 took the game 2 win, 4-3.

GAME 3

Although both teams had shots on offense, the first half of the game remained scoreless. The Club netted a goal first to go up 1-0. The clock ran down as both teams traded offensive drives, but V1 were unable to level the score. The Club took game 3, 1-0.

GAME 4

Game 4 saw dynamic offensive drives from both teams, but the defense was just as strong, and the game remained scoreless. Neither team was able to net a goal, sending the game to overtime. After a back-and-forth start to the overtime, Version1 took control on offense and Comm was able to score the winning goal. Version1 took the game 4 victory, 1-0.

GAME 5

The opening kickoff went in the favor of V1 and resulted in an early goal from Beastmode to put them up 1-0. After several heroic saves from Version1, they transitioned back to offense and put together a clinical drive to secure a second goal. The Club had no time to answer back, giving Version1 the game 5 victory, 2-0.

GAME 6

Game 6 started with looks on offense for both teams, but Beastmode answered first for Version1, putting them up 1-0. Remaining dominant on defense, V1 refused to let The Club net an equalizing goal. A last-second goal was nudged in by The Club, tying the game at 1-1. Version1 refused to go to OT, and with a zero-second drive, Beastmode put in the winning goal to secure the game and the series. Version1 took the game 6 victory, 2-1, and the series victory, 4-2.
