V1RL vs Faze Clan

Version1 went up against FaZe, the NA Regional 1 Champion, in its third match-up of the day. This the day after the Version1 VALORANT team eliminated FaZe from the NA Last Chance Qualifier to stay alive in the lower bracket.  

Comm put his team on the board first with two goals in the first half of game one, and from the Version1 piled it on, going up 4-0, before FaZe was finally able to net one and get on the board. V1 takes game one. 

It was FaZe’s turn to pile it on in game two, going up 3-0. Comm managed to sneak one in as time ran out, putting V1 on the board but it wasn’t enough. FaZe wins game two, 3-1.  

Version1 scored first in game three, and held on defense, before FaZe eventually scored twice to go up. But V1 refused to give up and evened the score in the final minutes of regulation. Yet another OT – could Version1 dominate? Not this time. FaZe nets a goal, taking game three in overtime.  

Game five it is. FaZe Clan crushed V1, scoring four goals to win the game 4-0 and series, 3-2. Version1 must win out on the day to stay alive in the Regional.
