V1RL vs Soniqs

Version1 enters match four in do or die mode, fans wondered if the team had finally found the right momentum on the day, after a somewhat sluggish start. The Soniqs game to play, going up in the first game three goals to one for V1. Comm managed to net a second, but it wasn’t enough. The Soniqs take game on, 3-2. 

In game two, Gimmick nails one home in the opening minute, seeming to restore energy for his squad. He adds a second goal, just thirty seconds later. Version1 can control its destiny if it continues to gel. Things work out and V1 wins the game, 3-0.  

Game three looks evenly matched, both teams trading two goals in regulation, and it heads to overtime. Comm scores in OT to win game three, 3-2! 

Version1 has an opportunity to close the series and stay alive in game four. Gimmick brings them even closer to victory, scoring first for his team about halfway through the game. Soniqs nearly scored but the ball bounced off the post and V1 stays on top. Comm nearly scored a second as time expired, but no matter. Version1 wins and takes the series, 3-1.
