Minnesota Røkkr announced today that it signed Warzone streamer Blazt as a content creator. He’s the first professional streamer to be signed by the organization. Blazt previously competed professionally in the Call of Duty League, most recently in 2020 with the Los Angeles Guerrillas. Following the CDL season last year, Blazt transitioned to pursue a career as a full-time content creator and streamer playing Warzone.
Rasim “Blazt” Ogresevic started competing in video games when he was 13 years old and officially went pro in 2017 playing Call of Duty: World War II. From then on, he knew he wanted to make esports a long term, full time career. “Going pro meant a lot to me because I proved to myself that I can with the best of the best,” says Blazt. Like many current pro players and streamers, Blazt started gaming young, but when he found a passion for competing and was committed to getting better, he benefited from supportive parents who bought him his first ever console – an XBOX 360 – when he was 10 years old.
While Blazt is the first streamer its signed, Version1 and Røkkr – which will celebrate its two year anniversary in July – is pursuing additional streamers playing various titles to build a roster of creators as it continues to grow and diversify.
“I love everything about Røkkr: the way they care for their players and how much appreciation they show towards us,” says Blazt. “They also have one of the best color ways and logos out of every CDL team.”
