Vanity joined Version1 in January 2021 shortly after transitioning to professional VALORANT following a successful career competing in Counter-Strike with Chaos Esports Club. He is Version1’s team captain and the in game leader; his most notable agents are Brimstone and Omen. While competing with Chaos in Counter-Strike, Vanity won five events; three consecutively. Most notably, he won the Intel Extreme Masters XV – Beijing Online: North America after defeating Triumph Gaming in Grand Finals, 3-1.
Zellsis is a former Counter-Strike professional who transitioned to VALORANT in 2020. He joined Version1 in January 2021 after competing with names like Singularity, Lazarus and Cloud9 in Counter-Strike. Zellsis is a duelist and flex on the Version1 squad. His most notable agents are Phoenix, Reyna, and Sage.
Effys joined Version1 in January 2021 in the support and flex role using agents including Sova and Breach. Before joining Version1, he competed alongside PLAYER1 at Gen.G since the game’s Beta in 2020. Effys has multiple first place finishes with Gen.G and will bring that experience to help lead his team throughout the VALORANT Champions Tour.
Penny is an up and comer in competitive VALORANT who joined the Version1 roster in January 2021. He, like Zellsis, is a duelist using agents like Phoenix, Reyna, and Jett. He competed in Counter-Strike before he switched to VALORANT and took 2nd place in Intel Extreme Masters XV – Beijing Online: North America against Triumph Gaming.
Max “Wippie” Shepelev is a former Counter-Strike professional who transitioned to VALORANT in 2020. He officially joined Version1 in June 2021 after competing with Ghost Gaming. Wippie is a sentinel player and his most notable agent is Viper.
Immi joined Version1 January 2021 as the team’s head coach. Before joining Version1, Immi coached NRG and Singularity in Counter-Strike and prior to that, played professionally for Endpoint. His notable wins include the iBUYPOWER Invitational – Spring 2018 with NRG and the ESL Premiership – Summer 2019 with Endpoint.
